Infusion Therapy · Praxis Dr. Romanos

Infusion Therapy.
Targeted application.

Medically indicated, individually dosed — applied when there is clear medical benefit.

Our Principle

Diagnosis first.
Infusion only if sensible.

Not a substitute for diagnosis

Infusion therapies do not replace diagnostic workup. They are used selectively as complementary measures — based on history, findings, and medical judgment.

Direct Bioavailability

Intravenous administration enables direct availability in the bloodstream — independent of the gastrointestinal tract.

Possible Applications

When an infusion makes sense.

Energy & Recovery

With pronounced fatigue or during convalescence — based on indication.

Immune System

With increased susceptibility to infection or recurrent infections — after clinical assessment.

Liver Metabolism

Supporting measures in cases of increased metabolic burden.

Stress & Autonomic Function

For stress-related complaints or sleep disorders — as part of an overall concept.

Differentiation

Medical Infusion Therapy —
not a standard treatment.

Offering

Our Infusions.

Iron Infusion

Iron carboxymaltose (i.v.). Replaces weeks of oral supplementation in one session. Covered by Swiss mandatory insurance (KVG) if deficiency is documented.
Indication: Iron deficiency anemia, symptomatic iron deficiency.

Fatigue Infusion

S-Acetyl-Glutathione (3,000 mg), Vitamin C, B-Complex, amino acids. Approach via mitochondrial energy metabolism.
Indication: Fatigue, burnout, convalescence, Long COVID.

Liver Support Infusion

S-Acetyl-Glutathione (3,000 mg), high-dose Vitamin C (12,000 mg), liver-supporting micronutrients. Glutathione as cofactor of hepatic conjugation.
Indication: Increased liver burden, recovery after exposure.

Immune Infusion

S-Acetyl-Glutathione (3,000 mg), Vitamin C (12,000 mg), Taurine, Arginine. Immunomodulatory approach via glutathione and cytoprotective amino acids.
Indication: Increased susceptibility to infection, recurrent infections.

Neuro-Stress Infusion

Arginine, Taurine, Glycine, Magnesium, Glutathione, Choline, Tryptophan. Amino acid-focused formulation to support parasympathetic regulation.
Indication: Autonomic dysregulation, stress intolerance, sleep disorders.

Indication

Sensible — or not.

Medically sensible when:

Documented iron deficiency (lab confirmed) · Pronounced fatigue or burnout · Convalescence after severe strain · Recurrent infections · Autonomic dysregulation or stress intolerance · Long COVID with fatigue component

We decline when:

An underlying condition has not been investigated · Hormonal imbalances exist without diagnostics · Chronic fatigue persists without clarifying the cause · Expectation of immediate effect is in the foreground

Process

Three steps.
No unnecessary steps.

1
Initial Consultation & Lab

Clarify symptoms, evaluate indication — and determine if an infusion makes sense or if other workup takes priority.

2
Infusion at the Practice

Medically supervised application, individually dosed. Composition based on your findings. Duration: 30–60 minutes.

3
Follow-up Assessment

Assess response. Adjust composition if needed or initiate further diagnostics.

Costs

Transparent.
Discussed in advance.

Iron Infusion (KVG)

Usually covered by Swiss mandatory insurance if deficiency is documented.

Glutathione Infusions

CHF 300.– per session. Composition individually tailored to indication.

No Surprises

Everything is discussed in advance. No hidden costs, no flat-rate packages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good to know.

What is S-Acetyl-Glutathione?

A central endogenous antioxidant and cofactor of hepatic detoxification. The S-acetyl form is stable and has good intravenous availability. It is the basis of our glutathione infusions.

How long does an infusion take?

30–60 minutes, depending on composition.

Do I need lab values beforehand?

For iron infusions, mandatory. For glutathione infusions, not required at the first session — if symptoms are unclear, we recommend targeted lab analysis beforehand.

Are costs covered?

Iron infusion: covered by Swiss mandatory insurance (KVG) if deficiency is documented. Glutathione infusions: private service, CHF 300.– per session.

Are infusions safe?

All infusions are administered under medical supervision. Relevant side effects are rare. Risk factors and contraindications are clarified in the initial consultation.

How many sessions are sensible?

Depends on indication and response. Some patients benefit after 1–2 sessions, others need a series. We advise you individually.

Clarity before treatment. Always.

Not every symptom requires an infusion. But when it is indicated, it can be a precise tool. We decide together — on the basis of medicine, not trends.
