Preventive Care · Praxis Dr. Romanos
Health Check-up.
Clearly Prioritized.
Preventive care with system — not more diagnostics, but better decisions.
Interpretation instead of isolated findings.
What to Expect
The value of a check-up lies not in the number of parameters —
but in their medical interpretation.
Structured Assessment
Targeted selection of examinations — based on risk profile, age, and clinical question.
Medical Prioritization
Not every deviation requires treatment. Focus on relevance and consequence.
Trend Over Snapshot
Comparison with previous values and assessment over time. Single measurements often tell little.
Clear Recommendations
Concrete next steps — understandable, medically justified, without unnecessary action.

How We Choose the Right Level
The appropriate check-up is not chosen by preference, but based on symptoms and medical history, existing prior findings and clinical relevance. Not every parameter makes sense in every situation. The goal is targeted clarity — not maximum testing.
Typical Situations
When Patients Come to Us.
Structured Preventive Care
Regular, systematic examination — not only when something shows up abnormal.
Family History
Heart disease, diabetes, or cancer in the family — know where you stand early.
Work-Related Stress
High work tempo, poor sleep, irregular eating — the body reacts.
Unclear Complaints
Fatigue, performance decline, concentration problems — despite unremarkable initial workup.
Our Standard
What You Should Not Expect.
No Screening Without Context
Standardized panels without clinical question lead to incidental findings — not clarity.
No Over-Testing
More parameters do not mean more safety. Every analysis is used with purpose and justification.
No Generic Recommendations
Recommendations are based on your findings, your history, and medical evidence — not trends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Good to Know.
Do I need to come fasting?
Yes, ideally 10–12 hours fasting. This is important for reliable blood sugar and lipid values. Water and medications are allowed.
Does insurance cover the check-up?
The Basic check-up is covered by basic insurance (KVG). Extended analyses can be out-of-pocket — this is discussed transparently in advance.
How often should I have a check-up?
From age 40, yearly is recommended. Before that, it depends on risk profile and medical history. We discuss the right frequency individually with you.
Can I come without complaints?
Of course. Preventive care means looking ahead before problems arise. That's when a check-up is most valuable.
Will I receive my results in writing?
Yes. You'll receive a structured summary of your findings with interpretation and recommendations.
Preventive care is not a checklist.
It's a medical decision.
